Michael Asaad became a Canon Certified Trainer in 2022, further strengthening his commitment to professional excellence and visual education. With more than 15 years of experience as a photojournalist and documentary photographer, Canon has supported his mission to capture powerful, real-world narratives with accuracy and depth.

Recognized for his coverage of pivotal historical moments, including Egypt’s January Revolution, Michael relies on Canon’s imaging technology to document events with clarity, precision, and emotional impact. The reliability and performance of Canon equipment enable him to work confidently in fast-paced and high-pressure environments.

As the Head of the Photojournalism Department at Rose Al-Youssef Foundation, Michael integrates Canon systems into both his professional workflow and training programs. Through workshops and mentorship, he empowers photographers to use visual storytelling as a tool for self-expression, heritage preservation, and social impact.
